Dodger asks Will for permission to try it on with Ash, but Will denies that he fancies her. Just as Annalise is coming round to the idea of having the Savages in the house, Will's ready for them to get out. Dodger and Dirk decide to leave and live in a van for a bit. Will feels bad about letting his family down for the first time they've needed his help.
Doug's finally ready to leave the house. He goes to the gym with Riley and tells him to make up with Mercedes - they do have to both bring up Bobby. Using very little pressure, Riley gets Doug to confess that he fancies Ste. They make a deal - Riley will apologise to Mercedes if Doug tells Ste how he feels.
Love is the last thing on Ste's mind - he has to sack Barney because the deli isn't making enough money. Scott and Annalise tell Barney to speak to his parents to ask for money, but he's too proud for that. Ste also doesn't want any advice from Brendan about the deli, telling him he's got nothing to do with Carter + Hay. Little does he know that the silly-moustachioed man is the silent partner in the business!
Riley apologises to Mercedes. She talks about how bad it is to keep secrets - he feels bad about Mercedes not knowing about Lynsey. He asks Lynsey to tell Mercedes about them but she thinks Mercedes is far too suicidal for that. Just as Mercedes and Riley are back on good terms, Mitzeee arrives back in town...
Doug gets shot down and goes for a little cry. Lynsey sees him and tells him to give it another go. Texas, Leanne and Riley also tell Doug to give it another go. Doug goes to the deli and makes a heartbroken confession to Ste. He says he's so sorry about leaving him alone for so long and then tells him that he's the only reason he didn't fully break down. As they kiss, Brendan sees everything, and he is Not. Happy.
