Simon Cowell signs Britain's Got Talent's Loveable Rogues

Simon Cowell signs Britain's Got Talent's Loveable Rogues

They may have missed out on the Britain's Got Talent crown because of a dancing dog, but it looks like things are on the up for cheeky chappies the Loveable Rogues.

The three-piece, who came fourth in this year's BGT final, have apparently been offered a £500,000 record deal by the big man himself Simon Cowell.

Eddie Brett, Sonny Jay Muharrem and Te-Qhairo Eugene were one of Simon's favourite acts in the competition, but it was always going to be hard for them to beat favourites Ashley and Pudsey.

'Syco [Simon's record company] have high hopes. They're the full package," an insider said. "They've got the look, the sound and were writing quality music before they'd even hit the studio.

The Essex lads are even being compared to two of the biggest boy bands in the world – both signed to Simon's label, of course.

"With One Direction and The Wanted doing so well, there is more than enough appetite in the market for male groups making good pop music.'"

The band are reported to be in the studio working on an album, as we speak. And they couldn't be happier.

"We're buzzing. This is everything we've been working towards. We are so happy," Eddie said.

Sonny added: "Syco is a fresh label working with some great acts."

Britain's Got Talent

The boys faced controversy when they were on the show as it emerged they'd been asked to audition by the show's producers, after they saw them on YouTube.

On seeing the lads perform their own track Lovesick for the first time in their live audition, Simon said: "It was like listening to a Madness track again. And you look good. You look really good."
