Hanasaku Iroha, Jigoku Shoujo Season 2 and Shiki on Hero TV this "Flash of May"
The country’s no. 1 anime channel Hero TV will give everyone a jaw-dropping experience this May, as it presents its gigantic offerings featuring values-enriched new and returning anime titles, plus locally produced shows and Hero Theatrixx movies
Dubbed as the “Flash of May,” the channel will begin this month’s celebration with the premieres of inspirational “Hanasaku Iroha” on May 17 (Thursday), supernatural “Jigoku Shoujo Season 2” on May 14 (Monday) and puzzling “Shiki” on May 20 (Sunday).
The story of “Hanasaku Iroha” revolves around a girl named Ohana, who’s experiencing life’s complexities at a young age. But despite the troubles, she will make the most of her situation. Her difficult life will then start to be fun. Ohana will inspire everyone as she will realize of hard work and make exciting discoveries. Catch “Hanasaku Iroha,” weekdays at 9p.m. with replays at 5:30a.m., 11:30a.m. and 5:30p.m.
In the second season of “Jigoku Shoujo,” Enma Ai will continue her quest as the Hell Girl. But a naughty little girl named Kikuri will appear and seems to have strange intentions with Ai. With huge purple eyes, this mysterious girl has a twisted sense of compassion, judgment and humor. “Jigoku Shoujo Season 2” airs weekdays, 7:30p.m. with replays at 1:30a.m., 5a.m. and 12p.m.
“Shiki,” on the other hand, chronicles the story of Sotoba, a small peaceful village with about 1,300 residents. One summer, a series of mysterious disappearance and fatalities began to plague the town. Could it be because of the strange Kirishiki family that recently moved to the city? Catch “Shiki” Saturdays and Sundays at 2a.m., 11:30a.m. and 8:30p.m.
Among the must-see returning titles are “Reborn,” “Code Geass,” “Gintama Season 2 “Needless,” “Persona Trinity Soul,” “Major Season 6,” “New Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002,” “Mission E,” “Hana Yori Dango,” “ Kyoshiro” and the “Eternal Sky.”
Two of the top-grossing Ultraman movies suach as “Superior 8 Ultraman Brothers” and “Megamonster Battle Ultra Galaxy: The Movie” will also be presented by everyone’s most favorite animated movie block Hero Theatrixx.
The Season 2 of locally produced “My Hero Nation” is almost over, but the fun and adventure doesn’t stop as the program will give an exclusive interview with renowned international comic artist CB Cebulski. The show’s host Dino Imperial and Kakki Teodoro will also give life to the characters of Naruto Shippuden in the Dubbing Academy.
