Without BGT to fall back on – there really was no excuse to not watch the entire Saturday night episode of The Voice UK. Within minutes it became clear that The Voice going very, very wrong actually made it so, so right.
Despite Jessie's best efforts to calm things down we finally got to see some real 'beef' between the coaches; Massive props to Jessie J for having the 'balls' to stop the entire show and insist someone check her mic so she could perform properly (although you can't help wonder had it been Sunday night there would have been an edit job); will.i.am appeared to be seriously jet-legged through the show, leaping from one comedy extreme of exhaustion, to the other, faster than you can say 'dope'.
Then there was Becky Hill forgetting the words to her song and declaring 'F**k' on primetime BBC - priceless. But the whole show was stolen by Aleks Josh, the eliminated contestant who sulked and stomped through the entire thing like a teenage boy whose Mum has just told him to turn his music down. More of this please.
The Hottest Vid – Professor Green ft Ruth Anne – Remedy
Ordinarily Pro's videos are full of serious face and emotional torment, but finally we get to see him having a laugh and realising that having a good old party is the 'remedy' to feeling sad. This is defo one party we wish we'd have been invited to – keep your eyes peeled for cameos from his beautiful GF Millie and none-other than BBC Breakfast legend Bill Turnbull.
The One To Watch – Andy Grammer
If you have a Buble-shaped-hole in your life and you're craving a handsome crooner on your iPod – this is your man! With his lovely hair and chiselled cheek bones Andy Grammer is set to release his debut single here in the UK in June, and if his song Fine By Me is anything to go by it looks like he could be the new King Of Catchy. He says he's inspired by Jack Johnson, Coldplay and John Mayer. Check out his song and see for yourself.
