Bart and Sinead take off in his car and aim to get as far away as possible for a very long time. Diane goes to the McQueens – she's angry because Sinead's a) gone off with Bart b) convinced that Diane called the police to say where Bart was. Because it wasn't Diane who called the police – it was Jacqui. The McQueens are furious that she broke the 'McQueen code'.
Meanwhile, Callum's trying to revise for his exams but Martha's got a job interview the next day. She makes him put his notes to the side so he can help her prepare for the interview. When Tilly and Neil come to pick him up the next day, he's exhausted and Martha screams at him because he won't stay and help her – has she totally forgotten that he has his maths exam? Seems so, because she calls him throughout, leaving angry messages on his phone.
He hasn't worked out vectors - who has?? - so leaves his maths exam an hour early. When George tells him Martha's behaving unfairly, Callum says it's not his place to interfere – he's a guest in this house, not a member of the family. Ouch!
Jacqui gets Bart's attention by getting Carmel to text him and say his dad has called – he hasn't. Bart's furious but Jacqui explains he shouldn't run away just like his dad – and even though he wants to go off with Sinead, she has a future and that if she runs off with him she could go to prison, too!
Myra, Mercedes and Carmel tell Jacqui she's been out of order, and bang on about the 'code' that she's broken…she explains that Bart's constantly shown no loyalty to the family so why should they protect him from the police? But Myra explains that Bart's talented. He's 17 and could go to art college – she doesn't want to see another young relative land up in prison, like Jacqui did.
Bart drops Sinead off at college to do her exams. They do another very tearful goodbye after Bart says he's going to turn himself into the police. Sinead gets to her exam and Diane tells her to not let on that she's seen or heard from Bart. But Bart's ready to take the blame – he goes to the police station and tries to turn himself in, but Myra's already there. She's said the cannabis farm was hers and is going to be locked up for it!
In other, happier news – Nancy's pregnant again! Is this the end to Darren and Nancy's bickering? Sort of. She's still really upset about her miscarriage and he's not able to cheer her up…
