Heat at Wireless: Rihanna, Jessie J, Labrinth and Aiden Grimshaw gossip

Heat at Wireless: Rihanna, Jessie J, Labrinth and Aiden Grimshaw gossip

Yesterday, heatworld braved the rain for the sake of gossip - and hit London's Barclaycard Wireless festival for a day of dancing to Rihanna, interviews and more dancing (to Rihanna). We're good, we know.

We did get to celeb-spot backstage too, which was the highlight of course.

We spotted Nicola Roberts doing a spot of filming for her upcoming Sky Living TV show with Henry Holland (check out the Twitter feed for a pic). Henry informed us the show is very nearly complete and this was the last bit they had to do - poor Nic though couldn't get on with her work too easily because she had a crowd of paps around her dying to take her picture. She looked gorgeous though in an oversized knit and her hair up - good for the rain!

We also grabbed the lovely Aiden Grimshaw for a chat - he had a huge smile on his face and that's because his single got so much hype on the Internet. This was one happy boy.

Aiden told us, "I didn't expect to do so well with the single. I couldn't have predicted it. I don't want any number ones - I have no expectations still, I just want my album to get out there."

He also told us he's still best pals with Matt Cardle - and sees a lot of his X Factor buddy.

Also backstage was the gorgeous Labrinth (anyone else developing a crush on this fella?). Lab entered the room when it was hammering it down with rain - but as he did so, the rain stopped and the sun came out.

"That always happens when I enter the room," he joked. " Me and the sun have a thing going. It shines when I ask it to."

And he wasn't wrong - as soon as Lab hit the stage to sing his hit track Let The Sun Shine, the sun actually came out again. We think he may have magical powers.

Jessie J impressed with her vocals on stage. But we were also rather blown away by the fan she invited to join her in singing Price Tag. The girl was amazing and - *whispers it* had a voice just as good as Jessie's!

Finally Rihanna totally dazzled us with her closing set for the night. Although we could see far too much arse cheek, we were still happy to dance in the rain to tracks like S&M, What's My Name and Take A Bow. We even didn't mind when she forgot a few of her words. We're just glad she made it back from New York - at her grandma's funeral - to join us. That's dedication.

Now... we just need to deal with our mud-covered wellies. Any volunteers?
