Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has revealed that her character Sophie's dream girl is pop goddess, Rihanna.
Brooke, 24, thinks that the corner shop worker is ready for a new love interest and that the Bajan beauty would be the perfect girl for her.
The popular Corrie character came out two years ago and hasn't had the best luck in love since. She got jilted at the alter by her girlfriend Sian Powers, actress Sacha Parkinson, after she had a cheeky snog with Amber Kilirai, played by Nikki Patel. When Sian found out about Sophie's deceit she did a runner – leaving Sophie single once again.
Single and ready to mingle
The young actress told The Sun that Sophie's now, "single and ready to mingle," and is on the hunt for a new girlfriend. Sounds like the What's My Name singer – who has admitted in the past to being attracted to men and women – is just the sort of arm candy Sophie needs.
However, it's not looking too good on the street for Sophie as she's all set to tackle a new storyline on drugs. With the return of 'bad boy' Ryan Connor, Sophie will go off the rails and experiment with hard drugs. With all that going on, it's doubtful whether she'd have time for a girlfriend, sorry RiRi.
Hot pot
Not one to stop trying, Brooke also thinks Corrie bosses should get in Snoop Dog for a cameo role as a drug dealer. Reportedly a fan of the show, the US rapper could be ideal for the role. Kim Kardashian's also a fan of the Manchester based soap, maybe she could come in and serve hot pots?
It's going to be a busy few months for Brooke's character Sophie. We can't see a lesbian rendezvous with Rihanna happening, but we'll definitely be watching to see what Sophie gets up to.
